Roni left this world on December 31, 2015 after a short illness, at the age of 67. She and her husband were both born and raised in New York State but they met in San Francisco and moved to Eugene in 1974. 

She loved her adopted home and took pleasure in all the natural beauty we enjoy here. 

She retired from her "dream" job at the Hult Center box office after thirty years of service. 

She is survived by her husband, Don Pharis; her mother, Jeanne Levine, Delray Beach, FL; brothers Lewis Levine, Clearwater, FL; and Mark Levine, Mt. Sinai, NY. 

Our loss is Heaven's gain. Roni is a pure soul who lived an honorable and caring life. She will be fondly remembered by all those she touched, especially those that love her. 

She requested no service but asked that all who read these words do something kind to a fellow being, in memory of her.
